Child of Ruin
Game Jam: Ludum Dare 55
Time duration: 72 hours
As Gameplay Engineer for the Child of Ruin project, I had the most fun within the 72 hour timeline by working with a team of close to 40 people, which would qualify as a AA studio.
My contributions for this game jam includes:
* Implementing the enemy encounter movement system with AI behavior states for wander and chase towards player
* AI state changes based on distance
* Adding the gate trigger module for when enemies do require gate triggers
Bonus:
* During one part of development, I added in enemy model rotation, and fiddled around with the movement, and that resulted in a post of the moon walking golem, which I thankfully fixed thereafter.
